Covering
conditions - natural covering:
Arrival and stable conditions etc.:
The mare shall arrive without back shoes, with a clean uterus certificate, and she must be
vaccinated.
The mare and the foal will be stabled in a large box, which is cleaned daily.
The mare will be fed with concentrated food and straw food twice a day.
The mare and possible foal will be let out in the pen at least two hours a day, if weather
permits.
A stabling price per day shall be paid.
Payment of covering prize:
Half of the agreed covering price shall be paid upon the arrival of the mare - the other
half shall be paid when the mare is established pregnant, however not later that 1
September in the year of covering.
Foal guarantee:
It applies to the covering that Karmdal Arabians Denmark guarantees of one liveborn foal
(24 hours old) - which means that the owner of the mare can freely return the mare for
covering, should the mare loose the foal or if it dies within 24 hours after the birth.
The mareowner's liability:
The mare and possible foal is/are stabled exclusively at the owner's own expense and risk.
It is recommended that a life insurance be taken out in respect of the mare and foal, as
Karmdal Arabians Denmark cannot in any way whatsoever be held liable should the mare /
foal fall ill or die during the stabling.
Calling the veterinarian:
Karmdal Arabians Denmark will call in the veterinarian shere this is deemed necessary,
whitout the owner's agreement, and all bills for this are to be paid by the mareowner.

Here you see our very competent vet. Lone Christiansen from Ribe Dyreklinik.
She is handling all veterinarien stuf around the mares. When the mare are
examinated by the vet, we put her in an examination box for the safety of
the vet., the mare and the staff.
